turbo-2nr
Made some upgrades to the bike, first was the nerfs When i got the bike it had DG alloys on it, no need to remove but i really wanted something with a foot peg and heal guard. After searching around i decided to go with the Alba pro series, install was fairly simple and fitment was good except for the fact that on the shifter side nerf i had to trim about 1/2in off so it would slide on far enough on the front shaft to put the rear bolt in. For me this was not big deal as i have access to the tools needed. per ALBA the instructions are out of date and both pegs are now the same. i feel the 2 issues could go hand and hand. they said they would look into the issue and address. Overall I would buy again and im happy with the product before after Next was to look for some a arms, when i got the bike it already had widend axle so i wanted the front to match plus the stockers needed bushings so i i had to take them off i guess ill replace them and only have to do it once lol. being happy with the nerfs my first look was with Alba. at the time i wanted to stay with stock shocks but i liked the availability to be able to change to long travel down the road so i ordered the long travel arms from JDS http://www.jdscustoms.com/product/yamaha-banshee-350-adjustable-long-travel-a-arms-21-1990-and-up/ 87sheerips was good with the communication, answered all my questions and was a big help. Alba is way behind on orders right now and forgot to ship the parts out so it took me about 14 days to get the parts not a huge deal as its been raining and not a lot of good riding days in that span lol, since it was taking so long he had them drop ship the parts directly to me which was awesome and saved some time. I called Alba for the tracking number and they where very apologetic and admitted that they forgot to ship but the parts should be on my door step that day and they where. Once I got them it was time to install, fairly easy took maybe 2 hours.it is a straight forward install everything went smooth and fit awesome. plan was to run stock shocks but i had a wild hair to try something after reading that the Alba LT setup uses 17.5in shocks. Looking at a friends predator 500 and thinking that thing has a nice factory fox podium shock i whipped out the tape measure and sure enough they are 17.5in. So i jumped on eBay and found a set for $60 shipped. Got them in and they where mint. I put them on and they fit it like a dream,so far i like them. Who knows after some riding they may turn out to be garbage lol. i still plan on upgrading in the future but for $60 i said why not. over all I am happy with the purchase and itching to get some riding in. I would defiantly buy again and ill defiantly be purchasing more products from JDS in the future. **Only issue I ran into was the break lines my falt for not ordering the +2 kit, but luckily www.Fastturbo.com is right down the street from me and they are a huge Goodrich dealer and made me some and about 5 min. at an awesome price too. before after
locogato11283
Good review. Fox builds good shocks. Those will likely work out well. Do they have compression and rebound adjustments?
turbo-2nr
These do not but you can get factory shocks off a later year or outlaw with rezi and comp/rebound. If these work out will I may grab a set as you can find them for under $200 For the money if they work it's a good budget option Edited May 1, 2016 by turbo-2nr
