B22
Hey guys, finally got the bike to a track today and made a few passes. Stock cylinder stock stroke on alky. It ran great, no hiccups in the engine or carbs at all (40mm lectrons). I researched here and made a few threads and got them tuned well late last year. However, I was running 13 paddles on a hard packed clay track...not the best idea obviously but I was itching to get it out. Obviously I couldn't get it to hook at all. So what are my options as far as tires? We run hard packed clay mostly, as I previously stated. I've saw the cut ambushes that a few people run and what not but I'm not comfortable cutting tread of tires so just looking for some better alternatives. Thanks! locogato11283
You need a set of cut CST Ambush. They will hook up in the hard pack. They aren't that hard to cut.

But yes, you buy them and ship to me and I'll cut them. Where you located?

B22
Yeah I was thinking about those as well. I ordered some ambushes last night so I'll just make an attempt to cut them myself. It shouldn't be hard as long as I'm careful. And I got a great explanation from Tyler's method to cut them so I'll give it a whirl and give an update on how it goes... Was surprised that 2 rears only cost me 115$. Anyways they should be here either tomorrow or the next day so I'll post back with pictures, if I'm successful...lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
B22
I also went with the 22x10x9...hope that's not too much for a little stock stroke/cylinder...guess I may also be playing with gearing if that's the case Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

B22
Anyways tomorrow I'm gonna mount and work on the middle tread...only did the sides since those are probably the easiest. Was actually surprised I got them looking pretty nice with a hacksaw...lol. Some fine tuning with a razor and they'll look great.
