canadabanshee Posted December 4, 2003 Author Report Posted December 4, 2003 Thats it for mods. I live in ontario. It has the stoke jetting in it. But I am putting 220 in for the winter Quote
Blue Duece Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 start with just changing the main, should come with the pipe, leave your needles and pilots alone, do a plug chop on fresh plugs not the ones youve turned black with your stock pipes, and at least take your airbox lid off Quote
Banchetta Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 Agreed, pull the air box lid off if you can, if you can't, then cut the last 1.5" off the end of the lid so you still have all four clips to hold the cover on.. next, put some 300 mains in there and run it wide open in 6th gear for 5-10 seconds, shut it down, coast to a stop, pull the plugs and see what color they are...Black is rich, brown is perfect, white or tan is lean....you should feel a big difference from stock jetting...
