Isaac_62
Whats up HQ? I have a 95 banshee with a 4 mill hot rods, and wiseco pistons. The bike was running rough since i first started it for the season. I live in Michigan so it sat for the winter. After cleaning the carbs, (stock) and troubleshooting i found that a reed was pushed down into the cage (right cylinder). I replaced the reeds and fired it back up. Same issue still, so i moved onto checking compression. Left cylinder is at 165 PSI and the right cylinder is at 140 PSI. Is it common for that big of a difference? Was the pushed in reed a sign that something happened to the cylinder to cause low compression? Thanks for all your help guys!

70duster
Theres something wrong with that big of a difference. Did you do the compression test on a warm engine? I would also do a leak test to see if you dont have an intake leak somewhere too. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
Isaac_62
I haven't done a leak down test yet. But was planning to do so.. I did notice that the Carb (right side) was leaking between the halves, upon review it was missing a screw from the bowl.. could this be a possible problem? Compression test was on a cold engine. Larry's Shee
I would suggest retest. Make sure right slide opens all the way. Throttle WFO, kick until gàge stops moving
