gregckrt1
Sorry it's been so long since I last posted. I had some legal issues but anyways. I rebuilt my banshee literally today and torqued everything to spec put the pipes on clean the carbs I got stock cylinders and pistons so the carb idle and air screw should be the same right??. But here the problem I'll pull out the choke all the way and it will start and it has trouble idling and when I hit the gas it will go for a little and stall out. Then when I try to start it again it will back fire. It kinda sounds like both pistons will fire on n off but at separate times. The pipes are blowing hoot white smoke also please anyone that can help I'm open to advice and I will message back now bc I will have phone on me at all times Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk

gregckrt1
Oh yes I also had my cylinders honed today bc of a little rust the local shop did it for me Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk
ATVridinMaNiAc
Its likely leaking coolant into your cylinder due to a bad headgasket or warped sealing surface, which would also cause it to run like shit. Spray coppercoat on your headgasket if the sealing surfaces and gasket are good.
ATVridinMaNiAc
Also make sure you follow the torque sequence which is written on the head, go 10 15 then 20 ft/lbs.
sheerider11
First things first either do a leak down test or teat the cooling system
gregckrt1
Also make sure you follow the torque sequence which is written on the head, go 10 15 then 20 ft/lbs.Yeah I followed the torque sequence 10.15 20 and the top head gasket was new when I put it on today. Also I reused the bottom ones bc I had to get cylinders hoaned but last year I only road a little but like 20 mins half hour before I noticed leak coming from head gasket so I figured the bottom gaskets would be fine ??
