sheerider11
Idk if your being sarcastic or notWe are riding bikes that have been out of production since 06. The newest crank is 10 years old. Did your bike come from a different country?

camp0429
Most places are gonna be well past the end of next month before any porting gets done anyway.
sheerider11
Most places are gonna be well past the end of next month before any porting gets done anyway.took only a week to get a crank trued and welded. This guy seems to think that takes months. 2 days to get there. Jeff called me in the afternoon and said it was done and going out the same day he got it. It's easier to blow out jobs that only take a few minutes. Just get it out of the way.

That's what I was getting at. If cylinders are going to be sent out for porting, that's where the wait time is gonna be.
arena314
I don't mean the crank is going to be gone for that long I mean the rebuild its self is going to take alot longer. There's times where I can't even work on it for an hour a week
sheerider11
Okay, if the crank is out and back before your porting is done, how does that add time?
sheerider11
You're talking to people that have done this literally hundreds of times
arena314
The rebuild would take alot longer to do I have to pull the motor and tear the entire motor apart and do all the seals and go through everything it's a longer process
