Larry's Shee Posted April 19, 2016 Report Posted April 19, 2016 Explain your procedure for plug chop. Impossible to do main and pilot chop on same plug. No clue on white SHIT. Quote
trickedcarbine Posted April 19, 2016 Report Posted April 19, 2016 (edited) Showing signs of excessive heat. Looks lean. What is done to the motor and what jets? Edited April 19, 2016 by trickedcarbine Quote
Gemeiner Posted April 21, 2016 Author Report Posted April 21, 2016 Everyone says to ride to a long straight away put new plugs then ride through all the gears then turn it off and take the plugs out and then you chop em. Idk much about the process honestly, that's why I came here. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk Quote
Gemeiner Posted April 21, 2016 Author Report Posted April 21, 2016 I'm at 4000 feet, compression was like 150 last time I checked if I remember right. Mains are 270 and pilots are 27.5. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk Quote

ClaudeMachining Posted April 21, 2016 Report Posted April 21, 2016 From the first 2 pics, it look lean to me. I dont plug shop. Quote
trickedcarbine Posted April 21, 2016 Report Posted April 21, 2016 270 is a touch lean. Get a 280-290 in it. Quote
Larry's Shee Posted April 21, 2016 Report Posted April 21, 2016 What plug you using? Not sure on your procedure. Warm bike up on old plugs. Install new plugs. Ride WFO banging the gears, no pussy riding. When it stops pulling hard in 6th, pull in clutch and kill engine. Read or chop plugs. Quote
Gemeiner Posted April 23, 2016 Author Report Posted April 23, 2016 Thanks trickedcarbine, threw a 290 in there. I'll plug chop it again tmrw probably. I'm using ngk b8es. That's pretty much the same procedure I do, but you worded it better Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk Quote
