04sheetime Posted April 19, 2016 Report Posted April 19, 2016 Just curious if anyone was able to use the stock banshee springs on the underside of toomey T5 pipes or if you had to order shorter ones?? My stock ones are to long and not sure why. Toomey says they should fit. Any help would be great! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Shifty722 Posted April 19, 2016 Report Posted April 19, 2016 (edited) I have stock springs on our T5's had to pull like hell to get them on. Wrong springs? Edited April 19, 2016 by Shifty722 Quote
04sheetime Posted April 19, 2016 Author Report Posted April 19, 2016 They were the springs from the stock pipes. Can you post a pic of where the springs are mounted on the underside? The top fit great! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Bennett131 Posted April 19, 2016 Report Posted April 19, 2016 Don't the motor mounts have holes for the springs? Quote

04sheetime Posted April 20, 2016 Author Report Posted April 20, 2016 Isn't there where the bottom spring goes? This is the stock spring... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Shifty722 Posted April 22, 2016 Report Posted April 22, 2016 I just looked at ours, your spring loop on the pipe is welded on in the wrong place, ours are almost on the bottom of the pipe, horizontal to the frame tube. If these are new T5's send them back, or search for shorter springs. I will try to post a pic. Quote

04sheetime Posted April 22, 2016 Author Report Posted April 22, 2016 Thanks for posting a pic. I was wondering if that was the problem. I'll see what they have to say. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
