dian99
HI Guys I am new to ATV and was lucky and got myself a Banshee, went out on a ride, got stuck in mud, tried to free myself with the power and something went wrong with the clutch, I pulled the clutch off and saw that it has an OEM clutch in, and that the Cushions has melted/burned and that junk that it created got stuck between the plates and made that the clutch did not release, can I run it without those cushions? how many plates must the OEM clutch have? does any body know where to get the tors eliminator kit in South Africa? thanks in advance for the feedback. Bennett131
No, you cant run it that way. It should have 7 plates. As far as tors delete, one of the sponsors on this page might ship one to you.

hoppedupandcutdown
I'm thinking he is referring to the factory huge o-ring cushions here. If so, you do not need to replace them. These ones?
dian99
Hi, yes it is those o-ring cushions, i also saw the clutch only had 7 fiber plates.

hoppedupandcutdown
Do not replace those o-ring cushions, no need for them. It must have 7 fiber-friction plates It must have 6 steel plates
Larry's Shee
Yep, just get new fibers and steels, ditch the rubbers. Make sure to adjust at clutch, then at lever and use wet clutch compatible oil. Might be able to get good/decent clutch in S A, if not see about getting one shipped.
