mattmans1983 Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 MY bike runs good for the most part but I want a few more opinions on where to be on mains, pilot especially, and needle position. I have DMC 2:1 pipes, no airbox with a uni filter, v-force reeds, +4 timing advance, 50:1 premix, and as of now I have 320 mains, needle clip 2nd position, and 30 pilot. I'm not sure on my elevation in southwest Missouri. Temp is about 30 to 60 degrees about now. If it runs shitty at all its from 0 to 1/4 throttle. Been tuning slowly. Just wanted more opinions. Thanx for all the input. Quote
Banchetta Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 Not all pipes like the larger pilots...Try a 27.5 or even the stock ones.....Also adjust the air screws, they fine tune the pilots.....Trial and error...let us know what you come up w/... Quote
