Ultimateduner
With all the new quads out, the coming soon honda 450, the yamaha 450 and so on. Are they a threat to the banshee? Are they able to beat a banshee, if so do you think they will discontinue the current banshee and modify it?
wheeleymaster99
i dont know the new 450 are fast but i dolnt think they can beat a shee defently a moded one but they might be better on an mx track or something like that but in the sand we dont have anything to worry about
fixitrod
I have seen a yamaha 450 walk on some banshees. It was amazing. It didn't even have an aftermarket pipe. I don't know what he did to it but it was damn fast.
mrmatt
I agree with fixit, the YZF450s are fast. IMO, when racing on dirt, a stock 450 and a piped Banshee are pretty even, the winner is going to be the better rider.
sandfool
at the dunes over t-day the yz450 quads were hanging right next to the shees time after time.yes they are good machines and will continue to be.the question is,how long will yamaha continue to build up shees?rumors are that a 2004-5 will be the last- but bye 2006 2 strokes are not supposed to be made any longer except by the smaller manufacturers. i cant imagine a world without 2 stroke quads and dirtbikes, how un-american!!! ninjamaster
NO MORE SHEES OMG HOLY SHIT! When they stop making them I will buy there last year. That will suck though. I really like everything about my she, the way you sit on it ETC.

Lanky
just slap a 420 power valve kit on the shee. Then the only thing that will be threatened is your life with all that power.
Ultimateduner
Where do I get one of these value kits? are they expensize? how much faster will my banshee go?
Indubitably
Ya know those 450's haul ass, but think about it they have 100 more cc's and have essentially the latest technology. The banshee has 100 less cc's and how old is the technology in a banshee motor? A banshee will wake up al lot if it had all the latest technology in the two-stroke world ie. powervalves, case induction etc.
Lanky
Where do I get one of these value kits? are they expensize? how much faster will my banshee go? trinity or partiot racing, they cost around $3000 for the 420 kit, you will have around 80-90hp.
