sleeper06
If your set on stock cylinders and you have a virgin set go 7 mil , on meth with the rite portwork you can easily see around 115 hp

trickedcarbine
I've tried to find someone with 10 mil sleeves and failedI bought an old set of stockers with 10mm sleeves. They stick out of the cylinder a bit and the head is cut to accomadate the difference, there is also a spacer on the bottom of the cylinders. Lotta work in them and they still barely made 100 hp and it was all too end. They were Viper sleeves. Never bothered to put them together. trickedcarbine
Yeah. If I get time in the next few weeks I'd like to clean out the shed. So I'll be going through boxes and I'll see if I can get them locked up and get you degrees and heights.

registered user
cant remember his name but some dude cuts any sleeve you need and installs them because the slip fit has to be correct. im thinking he does the sleeve on a lathe then the windows on a mill
trickedcarbine
Might as well grind the transfers a bit while they're open... I'd imagine you could weld em up and leave enough meat on the outsides to press the sleeve safely then finish them.
registered user
really any machine shop could make the sleeves. getting the fit between the sleeve and cylinder is the critical part otherwise the sleeve moves around when the engine gets hot
