Running issues

Recommended Posts

Banshee was running fine went riding in the sand... went to ride again and when I started it the idle will go up and down and it was making weird popping noise almost like popcorn would backfire a couple of times and then die I did notice there was a little bit of sand in my carbs checked all the boots nothing was cracked or torn filter was still wet so I clean the carbs all out cleaned all the jets and it still doing this

Thanks any help will be appreciated

If you verified carbs are clean, and cable and slides are free of sand, it's time to look for an air leak. I'm with JD on the compression test. Look for a variance from one cyl to the next. How do he plugs look?

Put brand new plugs in it also the only thing I really changed besides the plugs was I went from 27.5 Pilots to 30's I am tearing it all down at the moment had a couple of buddies I ride with that also have Banshees and they said it sounds like a clogged pilot to them that would cause all these problems
