Shee_fast
Ok so I was riding my bike after I put the motor together(got it in pieces). I was in 3rd and I had nothing...I noticed after I pulled the clutch cover off that the denten wouldn't got down to first.. So do I have a bad drum or forks? The trans looks good no missing teeth and the dogs look good still square.. Any input? Sent from my VS810PP using Tapatalk
hoppedupandcutdown
Were you spinning it while shifting?

Keno
what won't spin? The transmission input and output shafts? or the shift drum? Use more words. Edited March 26, 2016 by Keno
87sheerips
Bent shift shaft maybe. If this motor is still split in half, put cases together and spin output shaft as you shift thru the gears. As hooped up said

Sent from my VS810PP using Tapatalk That happens with no clutch cover on. The cover has a spot on it that holds the shift shaft tight

edgehanger
Take the shift star stopper off, put the transmission back in and you should be able to go through all the gears pretty smoothly. If it hangs up while doing this then the offending part should be easy to spot. With both tranny shafts removed, the drum and the forks should all move freely Sent from my GT-I9500 using Tapatalk
