special06shee
its hard to really see, but to me if you look at the BOTTOM of the porcelain it kinda looks like you have a good smoke ring. If it were me, id chop the threads off and report back before you do any tuning.
special06shee
Your smoke ring should be about as thick as a quarter. When you do a wot plug chop your only reading the VERY BASE of the porcelain, nothing else. That is why people chop the threads so they can get a better visual of the base.
gcautosports
Was this done the standard way? Warm quad up with other plug, then put new plug in. Take quad for a run at WOT through the gear and hold 6th pinned for a couple second. Shut quad off then check plugs? If so, those plugs look okay. This is a good look plug from doing a chop Thats exactly how i did it and it looks just a tad lighter the only thing is that it boggs between 1/8 to maybe 3/8 throttle but ill go buy a dremel today thanks! Big Mike NY
Op you really want to cut the threads of and look at the bottom of the ceramic. You don't need a grinder or dremel simply use a hack saw will take you 3 min to cut the threads off..

Big Mike NY
May want to fatten your pilot jets. If your saying there is an 1/8 - 3/8 bog than its not your main jet. Start with the pilot and make sure your air screw is adjusted right..
