Lowroll
My Shee is a HJR hardcore MX ported 4 mil, Noss cool head and 23cc domes, 150 psi. chariot reed cages, chariot intakes with 35mm PWKs, +4 timing. I currently have FMF SST pipes and SST power core 2's on it. Pipes were bought before it had any motor work done. Now I find that it's somewhat difficult to ride in the woods and trails. The power comes on late, and it has crazy top end pull but it lacks on the bottom hard. I find myself constantly having to clutch in, rev and then clutch out to get back in the power again. I have geared up which has helped a lot but it still seems a little disappointing. 85% of my riding is woods and trails. The other 15% is WFO drag racing for fun which really shows my lack of bottom end power. Any thoughts? I've been considering PC's

guns4children
If you bottom end is lacking with ssts you got more problems than pipes. Maybe Paul Turner's are worth a shot.
dailydrifter
Go to a smaller carb
trickedcarbine
Switch to 28mm PWK's and some SLP's, DMC, or Pro Circuits. Might be worth getting some different domes cut. Edited March 22, 2016 by trickedcarbine

What's the diff between stock carbs and 28mm pwk?
Sandking
Something else maybe off that set up should have plenty of low end, I had him do the same set up on two bikes in the last year and they both run great.

tdod101
So besides a little bit bigger carb not much difference? I like the eBay ad I saw that claims it increases HP by 10%
camp0429
I switched from stockers to PWK 28's over the winter, I've went on a couple small rides since, I can't believe the difference they made. My junk is your basic "bolt on" machine, ported stock cylinders, Pro Circuits, VF3's, UNI pod's. Yeah the stock carbs worked ok, I thought they were decent until I put these PWK's on. Throttle response is night and day difference.
trickedcarbine
Stockers are fine, but PWK's are superior. They are just so much more crisp. The flat slide helps with response as well.

camp0429
Hmmm... They may not make a big difference on every Banshee, but I am damn sure impressed. They are a good match to my particular set up.
