Rage_kage Posted March 16, 2016 Report Share Posted March 16, 2016 Im fresh out of ideas, so I'm looking for some input. I'm running a pancake bearing with a lockup. When I am done adjusting it tightening the jam nut is a challenge, I'm using a set of bent needle nose pliers to get past the lock up to hold the 2 face section of the adjuster since it sits inside the lockup. Does anyone have any special homemade tooling to hold that 2 face section while tightening the jam nut? Or maybe some pictures of what they do? Bennett131 Posted March 16, 2016 Report Share Posted March 16, 2016 I will pull mine apart and fuck with it some and see if i cant make you a tool that works. If not, i suggest setting it then pulling the finger plate off, tightening it up, then put them back on and check it. Repeat process if it moved. m671054 Posted March 16, 2016 Report Share Posted March 16, 2016 Take the lockout and pp bolts out. Use hand pressure on pressure plate while adjusting the screw and checking pointer alignment.
