braptor52
Both sides left and right are off center a little. And in the front the head over hangs a tiny bit. It's a trinity head on new aftermarket cylinders. When I installed it the head fit a lil snug over the studs. Had to tap down with rubber mallet. The studs gave me some trouble. When installing them in the new cylinders they got tight sooner then I expected. Bout half way into threading them they didn't wana go much further even with a wrench. So I chased them all with the correct re threader. Still had some trouble gettin them all the way in after chasing all the holes. The left cylinder all the studs were threaded till there were no threads left showing. Right cylinder they all threaded equally but not as far in as the left cylinder's studs went. Bennett131
What kind of head is that?
Bennett131
What kind of head is that? Just saw that you said trinity. I don't know of any fitment issues with those heads. Does the piston hit the dome?

braptor52
They're trinity domes. 21cc and making 165psi at sea level. Seemed a little high Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Deadbeat
keep a close eye on it...no other company but Trinity offered "sparkplug retainers"
braptor52
I'm plannin on running 91. Most my riding is around 1000ft though. Bike came with the head on it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
braptor52
+4. It sucks cause the sole reason I changed this top end was to drop the compression to run on 91. Did have 17cc and big ports... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
braptor52
Granted most my riding is above sea level but I hate to constantly have to worry about it. Just put the bike together it's barely broken in. Considering ditching the trinity head and going with a pro design Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
braptor52
Yea that's why I'm confused that I'm getting 165. I got 165 initially before I fired it with a healthy amount of oil in cylinders. Ran it through a few heat cycles and putted around in 1st gear and 2nd a little. Re tested and had 160 but could get my Matco compression gauge to read 165 if I really kicked it over fast and hard after it reaching 160. braptor52
I thought that as well. They say 21cc on them but that could be wrong Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bennett131
Ya, you should run higher octane. Doubt 93 octane will be enough. IIRC, 91 octane is around 150psi on stocker. You can get your stockers ported some and this will lower the compression. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if he has his cylinders pored yes it will lower static comp. but he will still need race fuel as its just reading different on the gauge because of a raised exhaust port? I think the comp. is still there.
