kylechandler1300
Hi guys, this is my 1st post on this forum. I found this banshee for $1000 on craigslist. Guy says it has very little compression. Also says it has the following: "newer tech 4 tires on rear. Good razr tires on front. Toomey Full exhaust. White bros booster bottle. Pro taper handle bars. Tusk parking brake block off. K&N air filter. After market blue coolant hoses. Brand new spark plugs." What do you think? Would you go for it? Im thinking I could just throw a top end in it and it would be fine. Along with some major cleanup of course. By the way I'm looking to fix it up for a profit. How much would this be worth all nice and fixed up? Thanks
hoppedupandcutdown
All fixed and done you'll be lucky to break even. If your time ain't worth anything.

kylechandler1300
Hmm. You don't think I could just get by with a top end? Sorry didn't realize pics were so small. Let me try again. If you were going to buy and fix this for a profit what would you pay for it? Thanks Edited March 7, 2016 by kylechandler1300
camp0429
There is usually not much of a profit to be made on these heaps. Unless you find one with some decent parts and you part it out.

Deadbeat
you wont make money on that heap of shit, you make money if you buy a built up bike for a good price and part it out
kylechandler1300
interesting. Thanks for the help
Deadbeat
it can be lucrative if you are in a good area for picking up bikes, some people on here have built thier bike for free and make coin along the way, you can sink 10k into a bike and be lucky if you get 5k for it complete that heap you posted is worth more in parts, not much more tho

sleeper06
I've bee building these things for quite some time. Done many flip bikes for people. This motor is unknown conditions for you a full teardown is warranted. You could put a top end in it and have it erased real quick for reasons unknown to you. For about $300 you can have someone do a thorough teardown and inspection but don't be suprised if you don't like what's being told to you. Lately I feel like it's gett worse with half ass builds and wanna be mechanics. Proceed with caution $500-800 is what I wo spend if he doesn't like it walk away
