ScEaMin BaNsheE 305
Ok so I did a topend rebuild . 20 over. 64.50, now the 0-25% throttle bogs and a lot of smoke indicating that its too rich on the pilot circuit. I have k&n pods(cleaned), cpi's sb, vf4 reeds(new petals) chariot intake manifold w/ new mikuni boots, +4 timing, jetting is 27.5 pilot , 4th clip on 6 position needle(dynojet), and 340 on mains, tors removed completely. Leak down passed. Before I did the topend the shee was running on 27.5 1.5 turns out with crisp response off idle, now it bogs until after 25% throttle so I turned out airscrew 2.5 turns and it got slightly better, should I drop down to 25 on pilot even though 27.5 use to work good before rebuild. Sea level and temps 70-85, carbs are cleaned about 3 times. Im out of thoughts on what to do, any help on what could be causing problem are greatly appreciated. Phelps
bigger bore equals more carb signal. i would drop back down to a 25, drop the needle one and then check your wot jetting.
