02Banshee88
Okay so I'm simply needing to know what's the best premix ratio of gas and oil to have the proper gas/oil/air mix running in my Banshee based on my jetting and mods. Right now it's running Amsoil Dominator but I'm hearing from several people that the recommended 50:1 premix is not correct. HELP PLEASE! These are my mods and jet settings... - K&N High Performance Air Filter - Air box with no lid - FMF Gold Series Fatty w/ Powercore Silencers - Pilot jets: 30 (may be switched to 27.5 this week) - Needle jets: 4th notch - Main jets:
ClaudeMachining
With good oil, no problem running 50/1. If your bike was jetted at 50/1 stay at 50/1 Envoyé de mon GT-P5113 en utilisant Tapatalk
Bennett131
It's always better to pick a good ratio (32:1 40:1 50:1 depending on oil of choice), then jet it afterwards.

sleeper06
Coming from a different point of view I can always tell a bike that's had 40-1&50-1 ratios run through them . IMO get your power somewhere else and give em oil

That makes sense because my buddy Tyler on here told me that honestly the power gain/loss is negligible with 50:1 premix and it's usually better to run 32:1 or 40:1 depending on how the bike is set up. Keno
You don't gain power by adding less oil. It is actually possible to increase power with more oil because of better ring sealing. 40:1 is pretty middle of the road and what I imagine most people run. If you add more oil your jetting becomes effectively leaner and if you add less oil your jetting becomes effectively richer. Your jetting has no effect on what ratio of oil to run.
