Larry's Shee Posted February 20, 2016 Report Posted February 20, 2016 27.5p and ditch the bottle. It WILL crack boots. Once they start to, even though it may take years, they will start to leak. Quote

I rode my '94 at 5000 feet last summer, it ran great with 240 mains, 27.5 pilots, stock engine, FMF, stock air box. I put K&N's and a cool head on this winter, I'm thinking I'll end up around 260 this summer, but won't know for sure until weather warms up. Quote

Time Machine Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 Also, I found that Rocky Mtn ATV had best price on jets and float bowl gaskets. I bought jets from 220 - 300 and extra gaskets, my used gaskets leaked. Quote
Time Machine Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 No plug chop, just read the plugs and listened to the engine. Pistons and cylinders looked good this winter when I put the cool head on. You'll know when you're too fat on top, the engine won't rev up well. Start high and work your way down. Quote
Time Machine Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 3500 feet? Out west somewhere? Quote
