trickedcarbine
All this talk about Elka.... If someone is on a budget, you certainly can't go wrong with Works shocks. They have proven them selves for many years. Plus there are tons of used works shocks out there in great condition.
tfaith08
Works are nice, but I felt like my Elkas were better. At $999 new for all 3 stage 3's, that's hard to beat for a new set.
n2otoofast4u
Good used works sell for under 500 and are a VAST improvement over stock. Everyone wants the best shit but 90% don't ride hard enough to need it. Works will be fine.

Ronaldkrause
Lol that's a extremely tight budget. Your in the wrong sport for sure. Your gonna have to dish out at least a grand for some decent extended arms and shocksIm not looking for suspension upgrades im looking for motor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'll probably go with thoes them because im not looking for a a greag suspension i ride the dunes im not jumping my quad 50ft in the air it's mostly shooting hills Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dunatic619
So you're only willing to take someone's else's advice, if they share the same opinion as you? Dudes here are telling you real shit. Even if you only shoot the hill, the one with the best suspension will always win. Even if it's just up the hill. I've got elka stage 4s, +2+1 arms, and a steering damper for the front end. My shit rides like a caddy over the ruts in the dunes. Imybarms will be for sale soon. Let me know if you're interested. But the elka stage 3 kit is tits for the money. Fronts are 3s, and the back I believe is a stage 4.

sheerider11
Im interested i know what you guys are saying is real i just want to start with engine work Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk fuck both of them. Like I said, do maintenance stuff. You'll blow through 1k easy in bearings seals and bushings just making the bike have no more slop in it. Time Machine
Im interested i know what you guys are saying is real i just want to start with engine work Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I get it. You said you wanted to go "faster", but that's not what you wanted, you just want more power. Big difference. But that's fine, it's your Banshee and your money, do what you want. As long as you're just cruising the dunes by yourself, or riding with other guys on stock Banshees, you'll do fine. But if you start riding the dunes with riders on better machines you'll soon start thinking about suspension. You'll have tons of power, you just won't be able to use it all. Any way you go, at least you're on a Banshee. Enjoy! What dunes do you ride?
Ronaldkrause
Im ridding little sahara sand dunes in utah. But im interested in suspension as soon as i get the motor unstock. Hbu what dunes are you riding? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ronaldkrause
One of the reasons i want more power is because i just put 1000 in my banshee and i let my dad race me up the face of sand mountain and i was on my yz450f dirtbike and i smoke my banshee by 1/4 of the mountain Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
n2otoofast4u
UT is tuff to make HP. If you have a G to spend get ahold of a site sponsor (Redline or WK) and tell them your budget and needs.
