Power_Man
Rebuilding a motor, I had the cylinders on and ready to go and realized I needed to take back off. In the process I ripped the far corner of the gasket. Outside edge outside of the bolt. Not being cheap as I have no problem buying a $30 .012" gasket, how ever i don't want to wait 7-14 days for it to arrive in the mail up here in the north if it won't make a difference. Will that rip matter?
sheerider11
Is it worth the risk?

jbooker82
I don't reuse gaskets. Once it's compressed next time it comes appart it goes in the trash.

sleeper06
As stated , clean everything with ascetone, thin layer of three bond or yams bond. Make sure you let everything dry 24 hrs in 65* weather a lil more if it's cold. You'll be fine. Do I do it all the time no . In a pinch I absolutely have with no issues
