Craig B
I have a 10 mil being built and have a set of Snipers on order. I have a like new set of 35 PWK's to try on it. I'm thinking they may hold me back some. What size PWK's would you use?? 39 or 40.5. Thanks.
trickedcarbine
39's
Big Mike NY
I don't read much about the 38mm air strikers on big motor setups.. It seems 35's or 39's are the hot ticket depending on the setup. Is there a reason for that?
locogato11283
I'd run 39mm PWK. Just the regular ones, not Airstrikers.
rjdgriff
I run mine with 35pwk with billet bowls. No issues. Idk how much difference you would notice going to 39? Trail bikes, FTW

Trail bikes, FTW On the trail and in the lower rpm range probably not even noticeable. Think I may try it with the 35mm and see how I like it.
rjdgriff
If you already have them, I would run them. If you don't like them then go bigger Trail bikes, FTW

mhoksch
I run 35pwks on my 465 cub and love them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

On a dyno, I am sure you would see it but idk if you would FEEL in Trail bikes, FTW
Craig B
thats kind of backwards really, better signal down low with a smaller carb and a bit more peak power up top with bigger How's that ? Sure the small carb will have better signal down low. Like stated above the 39 may be worth a few ponies on the dyno in the upper RPM range. Most likely never noticeable out on the trail or woods. Big Mike NY
I saw your 10mil crank Craig it's beautiful! Your gonna have one hell of a powerful setup when complete, your motor is in very good hands! Sleeper06 is building my 10 mil too but I am going to stick with my in frame Shearers (since I just bought them) and I am going to go with the Driveline Cylinders. Go with the 39's! That 465 is going to be a thirsty bitch, feed it!
Craig B
Big Mike, I know Sleeper06 will build a stout motor. It may be too much power for my type of riding. That's why I'm going to try the 35's first, since I have them. The 35's may act of like some restrictors in slowing down. Until I get use to the power. Most likely it will wind up with 39 pwk's on it.

I highly doubt it will be too much power
Craig B
I will mostly be riding in sand & gravel pits, some trails also.
