Ultimateduner
My friend has a 400ex and wants a preditor. I have no idea why he wants one, is there any good points about it? Can it beat a banshee? What are the bad things about them? I all ready tried to get him to buy a banshee but he wants a 4 stroke . He rides both in the desert and in the dunes. Banshee crazy kid
i think a stock predator would beat a stock banshee..the banshee would take the take off but when it comes to top end i think the predator will win..(not saying i dont like the banshee) just looking at it that way from diff top speed charts on the web. So basicly im unsure but a good the is it comes with sum good performance parts stock everybody: nevermind what i said about the prdeator beating the shee cuz i knoe ur all like"is that kid lozeing his f'ing mind?"and it will probably started a big debate if i haven typed this just now. boonman
They are a nice handling machine. But, I would rather get a yammy 450, or the new CRF 450. Better machines by far. I know the predator comes with some good partsstock, but I just don't like Polaris ATV's. I will only ride a Polaris Sled, but that is a different story. Polaris sleds are the best on the market... Yep, that's right, I said it, Polaris sleds are the best. But on the note of this thread, definitely get a 450 if he ain't gonna get a shee.... SHEe DEVIL
When the predators first came out, at Magnum Power Sports in Nashwauk MN. They had a stock Predator and my sister inlaw had her stock 2000 banshee. A bunch of us were all curious if the predator would win, needless to say it didnt. It was a close race, the banshee won by about 10ft. Both of the machines hooked up good and everything. So I dont know maybe it could go both ways. Those things can be really fast with very simple mods.
onebanshee
Not to change to subject, BUT, Ski-doo sleds takes the cake man, nothin can beat them, they are way ahead of the game, and they frickin haul. I'll match one up against any other sled out there, but yes polaris is a nice sled, as far as there quads go, they are nothing speacial, tell your friend to get the new yam 450 or honda 450, the pred is all ready out of date in relation to what is out now. boonman
I beg to differ with ya. I beat NUMEROUS Revs on the trusty Polaris. Not bench racing here, I have beat several in snocross, (where rider is more of a factor than machine) and in drags. I have NEVER lost to a Rev in a drag. And I ride a BONE stock machine on the trails. I don't ever mod a trail sled, except for clutching. I like alot of backshift...
locogato11283
my stock banshee will stomp a 400ex with a 440 kit. they are fast and have alot of power. they wont compare to a piped banshee tho. stock one maybe. plus they are a good 4 wheeler for the money. u can spend 5500 for one instead of 7000 for a yfz450. if u arent just all about mx then predator is a good choice. for mx id have a yfz450. also my predator will beat piped raptors. ninjamaster
I have seen a preditor beat a stock raptor barely. And a piped banshee kill a stock preditor.
