freshsbanshee
Thts exactly what happen to me bike was running great then one side exhaust was firing harder then the other changed the cdi, coil, jets, needle position everything then I bought a fly wheel puller and took off the fly wheel and noticed the woodruff key was gone thts what keeps it in sync might wunna check it fly wheel pullers are cheap and so are the fly wheel key always go from cheapest to most expensive learned tht the hard way Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
hoppedupandcutdown
You can actually just pull the flywheel attaching nut and look down the keyway and see if it's still lined up with a key. (or if it's loose anyway) Shouldn't move at all with the nut off. No need to pull the flywheel just to inspect.
Horney
I had the cover off and the flywheel had no free play on it didn't look at the key. I had the nut off too to see of of was loose. to me it seems like the right cylinder is getting no fuel. and I know my carbs are in perfect working order. it Wil run and crank up first kick if I put some premix in the spark plug holes. for like 2 seconds. but my reeds look fine Sent from my XT901 using Tapatalk
hoppedupandcutdown
You can open the bowl drain and see if fuel flows freely, that will test if the carb is at least getting fuel. (No plugged lines and needle opening from the seat)
Horney
whenever I pull my carbs off and turn them sideways gas pours out of overflow. Sent from my XT901 using Tapatalk
hoppedupandcutdown
have you ran a piece of copper wire through the pilot jet?
Horney
pilot jet is the one on he float? or the small one next to main. not only did these carbs come off of a running shee. but everything has been disassembled and soaked. and I have blown air and carb cleaner through every possible passageway and jet Sent from my XT901 using Tapatalk
Horney
to me it seems likely reeds are not opening at all on the right cylinder. and I cant figure out why Sent from my XT901 using Tapatalk
hoppedupandcutdown
their was a guy on here once that left a rag in the intake. And have had exhaust plugged with mice nests
Horney
there is no rag in it. I cannot for the life of me figure this out. and I've had every thing checked out and I and no one else can find a reasonable explanation. is it possible for reeds to look perfectly good and simply not open. the right cylinder is getting no gas whatsoever Sent from my XT901 using Tapatalk
