JasonB
Just rebuilt the motor after having the crank welded, changed and cleaned a bunch of stuff in the process. First start up right cylinder won't fire. We swap the plug caps and still no smoke on right side, swapped in different plugs and gave it a bunch of throttle and the right side started smoking but the left quit. We were in a hurry to load the bike up so we didn't do more trouble shooting but does it sound like a stator or coil issue? Putting a hand under the silencer of the cylinder that wasn't firing would soak your hand with fuel so I don't think it's a plugged jet. New parts possibly related to this problem: Tors removal and idle screw instal Timing plate Fresh top end new seals/gaskets through entire motor Cool head Slp pipes 30 pilots and 310 mains (yes I know it's rich) Fresh 93 and klotz There's more I just can't think of the rest now. bansheekx
Carb slides swapped / in backwards? Crossover tube between carbs in place?
JasonB
Cross over tube in place, and I'm pretty sure about the slides. Wouldn't the one cylinder not firing thing have stayed on one cylinder if there was a carb issue? It's getting fuel, it was literally spraying out the silencer when reved up

JasonB
Still need to adjust the idle set screws but was able to get the bike fired up and idling by giving it a little throttle. When I would rev it up the dead cylinder still wouldn't fire up like would happen if a pilot was clogged Edited January 24, 2016 by JasonB

n2otoofast4u
Carb problem. Nothing to do with the electronic shit. Screw the idle screws in until you see them move the slide. Screw 2 more complete turns. Are the carbs sync'd? You're certain you have the choke tube in right spot? You are sure that carb has fuel in it? Test by opening the drain screw. No chance the first bit of fuel had shit in it and it's fucked the pilot?
