AxesOfEvil_96 Posted January 21, 2016 Report Posted January 21, 2016 Hey guys. Thinking about switching out my pipes. I currently have FMF SST pipes and think they do great mid/top but I want more bottom end power. 90% of my riding is in the woods. I just don't want the gnarlys to be dead on top. I realize you have to sacrifice power somewhere. My set up is - HJR aggressive trail port, boyesen ports, cases port matched, milled stock head, vforce 4, 28mm PWK, k&n pods. Bike runs great but like I said I would like to wake up the bottom end power. Thought about trying to find a cheap set on eBay and testing them out or even fattys. What's your thoughts? Quote
speeshee Posted January 21, 2016 Report Posted January 21, 2016 If your desperate for low end then go with gnarlys but I would find some fattys in your position. Fattys are well balanced. I have sst pipes myself and I'm not planning to change them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
speeshee Posted January 21, 2016 Report Posted January 21, 2016 Sorry I made the impression of gnarlys being bad, they are great. I just think that they defeat the purpose of the banshee's aggressive powerband. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Big Mike NY Posted January 21, 2016 Report Posted January 21, 2016 Hey Axes I have a pair of fattys will sell for practically nothing if you interested... They are good to very good shape.. Quote
AxesOfEvil_96 Posted January 21, 2016 Author Report Posted January 21, 2016 I just was unsure if it was worth the switch or not. I think the SST pipes are really underrated. I'm happy with how it runs I guess Quote
Shee_fast Posted January 21, 2016 Report Posted January 21, 2016 Pics of sst I have some fatties I might trade? Sent from my VS810PP using Tapatalk Quote
