Craig B
I am using VP C-12 & 927 @ 32.1. Now that the weather is in the 20's here i'm having trouble with this mixture clogging up the pilot jets and will not stay running unless the chokes are on. Is it the 927 or the VP? Never had a problem when it was warmer. Thanks.
hp2000
Isn't techniplate more tolerable to low temperatures? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Craig B
I see. Looks like sunoco purple would be a little better. It's specific gravity is 0.729. How about the 927 ?? Is there a better cold weather premix? Maybe something the sled guys use?
Bennett131
927 likes to separate in the cold...been down that road before.

Bennett131
927 is good shit, but I only ride my toys when it's warm out. Amsoil for the sled though.

BANSHEE HP
yah the 927 is your problem, benol will do the same thing. As said above super techni plate is a good winter or all season oil for gas or methanol.

Craig B
Thanks for the replies. I think a local shop to me sells Amsoil. Going to try that and see how it goes.
