Excellent choice,I installed one in my 66 nova many years ago.swapping one into your truck should be a cake walk.Everything needed is available through aftermarket suppliers Just a phone call away.

Custom grind cam, proper converter and some full catless 3" exhaust would be icing on the cake. Like said, they make plug and play wiring harness for most stuff.

I've been talking to a few people about what tc to use. Proper stall and still be a daily driver. Seems to be some controversy there. Already have a full 3 inch true dual exhaust with no cats, just flows.

what will be the point of the truck? just a "dragger" for the street. A DD? A tow rig?

DD with a nice sound and just a little ass behind it.

Those were cool rigs.

My Grandpa owned one for a number of years. Red Sport Edition.

I love it. Get quite a few compliments with it. Every time I get to northern ky, people try to buy it at gas stations and random places.

GMT400 FTW

just get a junk yard LS and throw a carb on it or standalone Holley EFI. That may be quickest and easiest?

I think I'm gonna try the wiring harness. If that fails then the Holley or Edelbrock efi kit will be used
