PaymentPlan
I'm pretty curious about these snipes. Are they an early product? I've never really heard of them until recently. Sharear seems more talked about. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
locogato11283
He is on a cruise right now I believe. When he comes back were going to talk more depth into pipes. I asked about LED, and he said your 24dm LED pipes were about 1800 bills. I lost consideration after I heard that. Snipers and Sharear are what were looking at now. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Yes, he's on a cruise. My in-frames were $1,500. They do make considerably more power than any other pipe though. There hasn't been a lot of testing done with the LEDs on smaller motors. I know Snipers were designed for the 421-465cc motors, but they may work on the bigger ones too. It would just take the testing to know for sure.

They are a much new pipe than Shearer, which is why you don't hear as much about them. Most people blindly think Shearer is the best pipe for every application, when that's simply not the case. PaymentPlan
I'm also going for the look on my bike as well and Cam mentioned LED's are raw finished. To get those pipes, did you have to send your engine to Arlan so he could design em? tfaith08
Those pipes are $1800 through Arlan now. He has them posted on his website. I believe that Arlan can build a jam-up pipe for any application, but I don't see the pipes dropping significantly in price simply becuase it'd be on a 421, 465, 521, etc. The issues with the Sniper dyno testing that I saw was that there was a significant drop in midrange power (5-15hp) vs. Shearers on the link that Zilla posted. There was more bottom end and top end, but midrange just plopped. However, that was the only instance I saw of that. If I could have had them shipped to chrome and to my door by the time I had to get it tuned and a few test rides for the DT ride, I'd have ordered them. I'll order them after the DT ride most likely. tfaith08
I'd have paid good money for that chassis...
locogato11283
I'd have paid good money for that chassis... You and several others. I had offers. I have no reason to sell it. I dropped 11 pounds off the chassis with the front end modifications.
tfaith08
I've pondered doing a frankenstein chassis, but I think I'd be better off with a Banshee engine in another chassis. TBH, I'll probably try to find a 450 and build that after I get done with this ordeal and donw with the wife's Blaster.
PaymentPlan
Arlo drops roughly 20 lbs from his OEM banshee chassis. I'll do an experiment when mine arrives vs stock. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Not a chance unless it's a very cut up drag chassis. OEM Banshee frame weighs 46 pounds. I replaced the entire front end of mine and only dropped 11 pounds. Yfz350-
I like how your pipes look loco do they sell pipes like that for say a banshee with a ride hard port job, no air box lid, knn air filter, hot rods crank, prox pistons, an many other mods also running top of the line 2strokeoil, would those pipes you got be better then your typical pipe?
