Power_Man
I want to lower it to ride the roads. I have lonestar +2+1 a-arms that I was going to run on it. The blocks that you mount to the lower a-arm won't work, or so I have read. Any other options out there? This will be just for the roads and no jumping. trickedcarbine
14" shocks up front (stock blaster)and a lowering link out back is gonna be the best bang for your buck. You could even find nice used Works shocks for a Blaster. The R1 rear shock is just so miserably stiff with out a really long swing arm or a custom rebuild. The rear stocker rebuilt or dialed in on a link does just peachy! If you want it slammed, 300EX shocks work or you can find anything to suit your needs at 13". sleeper06
I've used 300 ex shocks before with no issues
possum
I got some shortened stock shocks. Well shortened springs technically. And it is 12.5" eye to eye if I remember correctly. They work great
Power_Man
Okay, thanks for the info. I will try the removing shocks and see how low I want it and go from eye to eye then find the shock that best suits my needs
Power_Man
Would the Dura_blue kit work? looks like it mounts to the upper mounts.
Power_Man
i'd run alternative shocks before a front drop kit.. but thats just my opinion.. the ride will be much better...Okay, that's what I'll do. Looks like I want it lower than a couple inches. 12" length is what I'm looking for. So sit somewhere around this point.
