sleeper06
That's not entirely true, if I was using a different platform for something I wou research the shit out of it
trickedcarbine
If your only chasing 80-90 hp you dont need a real big motor like you were asking about. You can get that from a 4mil no problem. It's not just about target HP. It's about hitting that target for a specific class.
m671054
Was he not asking about a 68x68 engine in the very beginning? I would assume you could run a smaller cc in a larger class. Maybe not?
Bones25
Was he not asking about a 68x68 engine in the very beginning? I would assume you could run a smaller cc in a larger class. Maybe not? Yes I was asking about a 68x68 because that is the closest to 500cc You cannot run a smaller engine in a larger class It's not just about target HP. It's about hitting that target for a specific class. The target HP for the 500 class will go 170mph naked. I'm guessing 120hp. The record was set with a TZ750 with 250 cylinders= 500cc. Early 250's make about 60hp That's not entirely true, if I was using a different platform for something I wou research the shit out of it Thanks Sleeper I am only looking for infomation because changing the capacity by nearly 50% is outside what I have done. So from what you guys have said I will not attempt this with a banshee engine Cheers Bones
m671054
How close to 500cc do you need to get? Are aftermarket cylinders allowed or is it only factory. Give us all the requirements and expectations before dismissing the idea.
