Craig B
Merry Xmas to all BHQ members and there families!! I went for a quick ride today and did a plug chop. This pic is a fresh plug that was installed in a hot motor and went for a 300 ft blast into 6th gear and killed it. A little info on the motor setup. Driveline cylinders as cast with 21 cc domes with a Noss cool head. SLP pipes , V-force 4 reeds + 4 timing .Stock carbs with K&N pods 380 main 30 pilot and toomey needle 4th clip. Fuel is VP C12 with Maxima 927 @ 32 to 1. Looks pig fat , but I am use to looking @ drag car plugs. Thanks for any input.

Craig B
So I shouldn't be seeing any fuel ring on a fresh plug for a 300ft blast? Also forgot motor is a 68mm x54mm. Edited December 25, 2015 by Craig B

Craig B
Yes I do Whats carbs would you use? My next move is a 4 mil crank.
sheerider11
Whats carbs would you use? My next move is a 4 mil crank.I'd your going to go 4 mil just get 35 pwk. No sense in wasting any money on anything else. Did you get the 4 mil driveline cylinders? Or are you going to have them ported for the 4 mil? Craig B
I didn't get the 4 military cylinders. I will need different pistons. If the motor is getting a new crank I think I'm going to send it to Redline. Let him do up the trans, some porting and do the bigger carbs. sheerider11
Well if you need a second opinion on how the bike is running I'm not to far from you. We can head out to the trails and see what it can do if this 50-70 degree weather holds out.
