cub cylinder identification

The stroke is on the inside of the intake upper side. The numeric Lazer etched on the outside of the cylinder is a serial number from millenium technology the ppl that plated the cylinde. If you call them and give them that number they could tell you when they were plated. Measuring the cylinder total height and bore will tell you what it is. Further more measuring the heights of the ports will tell you what style of porting is done.

Thanks HP...exactly what i was looking for. ill take a look at tonight. Debating tearing top end down as it was running strong when shut down for the season. Wanted to maybe freshen the top end up as no clue how many seasons this had on it before i got it. Going to do a leak down test to see where it is at now. Rather catch a minor issue now than wait until next season.

To help a little more with what BHP said, click the link. http://www.cpindinc.com/pub/part_list?manufacturer=3

then click the "More Info" tab to get the measurements he was speaking off.

pull your intakes...look directly inside the intake up top. I have seen a few lately that had bore/stroke cast into them, some like mine only had stroke. On the bottom of the right intake I had P433 etched into...BHP stated above that is the millenium number when the cyl was plated. Also looks like if you cant find a number that a measurement of the cylinder can also get you closer.

so its a 392, specifically to run in a 400cc and under class...if you want to know exactly what was done to it porting wise, you`ll have to send it to competent shop and they`ll measure port heights and timings and wotnot...or you can buy a timing wheel and some verniers and muddle through it yourself

i wouldnt send it back to RDZ
