sheerider11
Did you bore the cylinders or put new pistons in? What were the measurements? End gap?

Buster91dg
Not sure bought it off craigslist I think it was just bored when it blew up does there seem to be a problem or I'm good
sheerider11
Videos are horrible for diagnosis. But a rattle like that could be piston slap. I asked about that because you said it was just rebuilt.
Buster91dg
It's not a violent vibration just the sound my band new snowmobile sounds the same way so I was assuming that it was normal

ShrpShooter
Very strange, I have the exact same thing going on with my brand new 4 mil stroker. Not sure what's causing it... Everybody seems to say it's normal on the banshee with 4 mil long rod crank. My bore is 65mm and HJR bored them to my weisco pistons. When I first opened it up, my flywheel was rusted to all hell and I had it sandblasted and put it back on with my new build. I'm wondering if the material lost from the rust etc and then sandblasting it threw it all off balance. sleeper06
It's hard to tell but it sounds like a collapsed skirt or could've had a cold seizure
Buster91dg
The skirt on the piston? I just put them in they were all fine and cold seizure? What's that
sleeper06
Piston expands quicker than cylinder and seizes ,, it can cause skirt to collapse, overheat can cause it. Rounded bore!! All give sounds like that , piston chatter on accel n decel
Buster91dg
Really do you think it's something with he crank maybe a rebore but I don't want to throw money at it if it's not the issue
