PaymentPlan
Did some reading on these through out the forms, sounds like they're hit or miss. Some guys say run the stocker, other say they've seen great improvements using Dyna. Any current thoughts of these pieces?
trickedcarbine
For what you're doing, OEM.
PaymentPlan
For what you're doing, OEM.That's what Cam said also, which I always take his word. I was just interested in hearing from other people's know how. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
PaymentPlan
OEM, ive never seen a need for a programable one, its not like you NEED to change timing often or NEED a rev limiter..... Just another thing to go wrong imo. I think the revlimiter is great. Wouldn't it be a safe feature to limit the bikes revs electronically rather then what it's capable of mechanically? Plus that shift light output sounds tight. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Edited December 12, 2015 by controls77
PaymentPlan
So what does a builder do with a curve on his motors? I'll ask Cam eventually.

PaymentPlan
So they change the curve in the stock cdi, correct? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
PaymentPlan
Okay, so the curve changes everywhere +4 degrees after the plate is advanced? I'm new to this so I'm trying to understand how it works. Thanks Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
PaymentPlan
Yes, it is shifted how every much you adjust it. Like +5 setting is +5 shift.Cool ok. Most of my posts here are questions, I'm a young guy wanting to learn everything I can about these quads so pardon all the noob stuff. PaymentPlan
Advancing the timing is just as simple as igniting your mixture at a earlier position of the stroke. Correct? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
PaymentPlan
So retarding the timing from the manufactures specs is usually not a good idea Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Edited December 12, 2015 by controls77
PaymentPlan
For tuning and finding the sweet spot, okay retarding is an acception. But never further then stock. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
PaymentPlan
not really, but some engines might like it (haven't heard of any yet though)We posted at the same time. Has anyone ran more then that and had positive results? Maybe it's possible with unique system. The degree measurement were referring to is directed to the flywheel position correct?
