One pipe seems to be smoking more than other?

Well the clutch side crank seal will cause that side to smoke more if it's bad, a leakdown can sqhate that away. Those plugs look terribly rich that's why I said ride it hard and clean the plugs up, jetting damn close for summer , winter I would have a 280 main at least . So I would ride it hard and try not to sit there idling it so plugs don't load up then pull em n post pics

Yeah I'll have to try tht I mean the thing runs solid fast and real strong. Iike I said idk the history of it I pretty much got it in a box and rebuilt the motor now I'm trying to work the kinks out of it and I was worried and was thinking it was burning tranny oil it doesn't smell like gear oil just smells like yamalube. But I'm taking it riding tomorrow I will def post pics of the plugs after riding

Could be simple as that , pay attention to the plugs , they should be chocolate not black but if your idling it like crazy plug pics are squewed. Look up plug chop procedure and post results of that . There's three three things I do to new motors than can save a lot of heartache

Compression test

Pressure/leakdown test

Plug chop

If everything checks out with that you have a solid base to tune off, ohm your plug caps if you havnt

Full throttle plugs chops only read main jet. Dialing the carbs off idle is a completly different thing. It can run good past half throttle and have good plugs. But lean on 1 side due to slides out of sync, a/f screw adjustment, pilot might be dirty, idle screws holding up a slide etc.. but all that might be a lil complicated for you at this time
