sheerider11
Supporting mods what do you mean by that. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk Cant just slam a crank in and expect everything else to work exactly the same as before.
kennethbrantley5
I'm not going to just slam a crank in and leave everything else as is. That is why I asked what supporting mods, so I can get those if I do not have them. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

kennethbrantley5
I do a lot of trail riding but I want the power there if we race. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
kennethbrantley5
So your saying is if I get a top end job with a aggressive port job I would be able to stay with a 4mill in a race. justsmith94
I have a setup almost like what you are building. Hot rods welded 4mil long rod crank Hjr 4mil dune port cylinders 21cc domes Timing at +4 Vforce 4 reeds Pwk28 carbs Open airbox with pro flow filter Barnett basket Barnett clutch with HD springs billit water pump Pro circuit pipes It has been an awesome performing and outstandingly reliable engine. It has a ton of hours on it, so i just rebuilt it, new clutch, etc etc. I would highly recommend going with a stroker build. Once you have a 4 mil, if you decide you want more power and want a cub or serval, youll already have the crank!!
sheerider11
You be lucky to see 5 peak hp difference between a ss and 4mil that are set up the same. This is true. There's a stock stroke long rod that runs right along side of me. I barley break away in the top end if we have enough room. But in reality it's anybodys race. A well set up stock stroke can make plenty of power
