camatv
damn atv high AND risers talk about apehangers! if you want to run dmc pipes run dmc pipes if a "builder" cannot port to any pipe get a different "builder". not everyone wants a drag port,...
@premiumsdd2
I got a little light today for free and mounted it where I thought looked good and the only question I have is can my stock stator handle this extra little light? I'm not sure on the wattage but it shouldn't be to much sense the light is so small, if not I could always go with leds. Thoughts? @premiumsdd2
I like how you put the kill switch head light switch down low. Seem to work good and no hang ups? the way I see it is there are no down sides to it Besides being some what close to my chain, that's the only part I don't like but I think it looks better and functions just the same. I had to reroute the wiring just a little bit but that's no big deal.
Bennett131
Just take that off of there...it looks somewhat rediculous.

@premiumsdd2
Never mind about that little light fuck that I'm gonna get some leds instead of cobbling it and gambling on burning up my stator
@premiumsdd2
Change of plans for the engine build, getting the head either milled or getting a cool head. Then fmf sst's for the pipes with scilencers to match. And for the boring if the cylinders are still round and with in spec I'm gonna try to avoid boring it but if nessisary I will with out hesitation I Just don't like seeing people for no reason going and boring it out to 80 over lol not that I would go that much but you guys get the idea. Then getting the over sized radiator and jetting it to finish it off.
sleeper06
The dmc pipes respond really well to porting on trail machines , I've built a few motors that pulled like 4 strokes with those pipes
@premiumsdd2
The dmc pipes respond really well to porting on trail machines , I've built a few motors that pulled like 4 strokes with those pipes that was one of the brands I was considering but I'm Not trying to build a torquy trails bike but instead a duner/fast trails bike that has good top end but just comes on a bit sooner and pulls hard. This might sound gay but peak hp isn't my goal.

@premiumsdd2
So then... What do you want? Low tq low hp? no like I said I want the good top end and just have it come on a bit sooner so not a cpi motor and not a fmf gnarly motor, I don't want the motor reving to the moon or pulling stumps something in between more or less
@premiumsdd2
This thread has been in active for a while but it will start back up again now. I've been strapped on cash, time and money, I think you guys can understand where I'm coming from lol. this is what I did tonight. A simple free little "mod" that makes it look a bit cleaner. I've be doing a million other little things that comes along with a rebuild that's not worth getting in to. I start a new job Monday making decent money so Keep updated! @premiumsdd2
Got a question for you guys, I'm getting my cylinders bored soon and I was looking at them tonight pretty carefully and notice the intake ports looked like they have had port work done. They look like they've been chamfered and cleaned up, what do you guys think? a picture of the exhaust also Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
sheerider11
Factory. They are always chamfered. Should be at least. I think they run something through when they are cast to clean them up. Or when they press the sleeve in.
