willaduncan
The side if the outside case is hitting the bracket when trying to align the holes?Yes it is too wide, just barely. I will have to cut about 1/16 inch off of each side, then I will have to figure out the depth issue. Bennett131
Idk how particular you're trying to get but what about two small plates that mount to the outside of the existing headlight mounts that are roughly an inch tall and wider than the stock location, then mount it between those brackets? Kinda mickey mouse but it would work without modifying the lights or the stock headlight mounts.
ClaudeMachining
Ok, just came back from the electrical dep. They made me a new nice plan, but it's more complicated... Edited December 16, 2015 by Santa Claude

Idk I might disassemble the housing today to see if I can cut into the housing to give clearance for the mount Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

banshee#527
That's not an electricians that's an electrical engineers design! They always make something simple so complicated.
ClaudeMachining
Wtf is all this shit? You can ditch almost all that. Sorry, but no. I had big peak voltage with the 'simple' way. So he added the voltage regulator (78L12) and add the transitor (2n3055) to make it a real PRO job. And btw, this is far from a complex circuit. About 20$ of parts... Should have it done by tomorow. Edited December 16, 2015 by Santa Claude

Question is can you put it in a housing to actually make it a practical application? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

sheerider1026
$55 will get you a podtronics rectifier/regulator that will handle up to 200w. One compact unit with 4 wires. Just sayin
