locogato11283
I'm curious to know how much you can take off an OEM flywheel to lighten it up? Thanks.
locogato11283
I know my lightened flywheel on my DM didn't work well. Did you ask Cam? Sorry I'm of no help. Obviously. I am not going to run a lightened flywheel. Someone asked me and I didn't know.
n2otoofast4u
I think Dave was taking a 80 off back in the day. Not sure what the industry standard is.

n2otoofast4u
Thou. Somewhere I have one he did somewhere around 1998 that let go. I'll have to see if I can dig that up. It was hanging on the wall but I don't think it's there now.

BANSHEE HP
ive took off .100-.120" but with that said taking any material off is a bad idea in my opinion
trickedcarbine
Seem mph drop and heavier bikes/riders bog off the line.
locogato11283
IDGAF what it'll do. I'll never run one. I had a Raptor guy ask me so I was trying to find out.
wayne_smith97
Seem mph drop and heavier bikes/riders bog off the line. I have not ran one but all the reading I have done seems to say that it makes it tough to keep the rpms up with less rotational weight. I suppose it may be ok for a drag only setup. I also read that with less weight that it does rev quite a bit faster. That being said I am scared of them. Too many carnage pics.
