coolhuh
I have a 2003 banshee with thunder pipes, trinity coolhead with 21cc domes, +4 degree key, 2 into 1 carb with 34pj (175 main & 48 pilot), K&N clamp on. I ride at imperial dunes and I always have the problem of alot of oil comming out the exhaust tip ends and where they connect. It runs good WOT and OK on the low end. Gas consumption seems a little high and it does not foul plugs. Any suggestions on what I could try to fix the problem. Thanks.

mick77765
Try the Golden Spectro at 40:
fixitrod
Are you sure it's gas. Does it do it all the time or only like the first hour. It could be condensation that built up in the pipe coming out. When your pipes cool, the will attract moisture inside. I may just have some of the old oil from the inside of the pipes coming out with it.
Blue Duece
and where they connect. do you mean its spits crap from the exaust manifold to pipe connection? if so your stock gaskets might help that(or if some came with the pipes) if its where the silincer clamps to the pipe, you should have a sleeve that wraps that joint also.....as far as the tip being black oily and nasty, have you done a plug chop? if your plugs are dry and nice and brown it's burning fuel nicely, if your plugs are soaking wet it's probally is passing fuel it cant burn, but your chop would look rich you'd think.....maybe try that yamalube closer to 40:1 after cleaning the tips, see if it still does it, i also notice if my packings shot in the stinger it will pass crap to the tip as well.......good luck

Blue Duece
i also notice if my packings shot in the stinger it will pass crap to the tip as well.......good luck Me too!! you also can take the silencer off, put a peice of clean white paper by the pipes end, rev it and see if craps spitting out now or it's just shit built up in the silencer your seeing blow out... basiclly to see if what ever you tried fixed it.........and it will sound cool and piss the neighbors off..... coolhuh
I will try the 40:1 ratio and do a plug chop. I am sure it is oil and it happens all the time I am riding. Thanks
1_bansheenutt
I run the yamalubeR also and found the 40:1 ratio is better in my shee.
