pp13bnos
Do you still have your 7 mil stock cylinder? I'm building one of those next. Once the SS is done. No, i used it for a donor. I didn't feel like buying straight cuts, cases, transmission, reeds, etc again.

RagunCajun
You lost me in your second mini paragraph. Snake oil? From what I've read here and other places, the Smart carbs are a gimmick. Snake oil is an old term that just means something that's a lie, fraud, doesn't do what it is advertised to do etc. I'm going to keep my bike too PP. I still need to get another dirt bike to replace my old one. I thought about selling my old truck as well many time but u can't afford anything that it would take for me to upgrade. 600rwhp wasnt cheap and I'd have to surpass that by a lot. Your lightning is BA. Just if it were black, I always loved those trucks.

PaymentPlan
So, Mr. No Budget, why didn't you build a bigger one then? The biggest size available is 64x72. I told Cam what I was looking to do, he told me what I could get. Simple enough.
RagunCajun
I'm glad he didn't mention I could go bigger. It took me way too long to finish a 521. But the second I hit the throttle years later, it was worth it!

All you had to do is say you didn't have a budget and were willing to wait.

There are LOTS of guys using smart carbs successfully and love them. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
RagunCajun
I need a to read up then^ But are they adding 10% like the other guy said? Or just easier tuning?
locogato11283
I haven't read anywhere that they worked really well on a Banshee.
RagunCajun
Bingo^ And since my dirt bike was stolen, I quit following their progress once they were released.
PaymentPlan
Update. Frame and mtr are up at LED. I decided to go standard mount silencers rather then center mounted. Reviewed it with Cam and considered the rear shock collapsing all the way, then the center mounted silencers colliding with the swingarm. Thinking about keeping the bare finish or going chrome for the pipes. We shall see how it looks mounted up first. Strm Trpr
Does anyone know if LED has made inframes for use on a 421 Serval? Or are his hand coned badass pipes only for big bores?

I don't see why he wouldn't. He made LRD for years for smaller motors. I'm sure he'll do what ever you want if you pay for it
