PaymentPlan
Black frame....that seems common. But I liked mine when I painted the frame black. It was subtle and oem looking to the average person. It's the only color I can really do. The bike is gonna be mostly black with a touch of white. Black seems to be the best choice. bigweav81
I saw a charcoal gray frame around here I thought, and it was nice color to go with anything. Sent from my SM-S820L using Tapatalk
bigweav81
Maybe. Seemed like I thought it was darker looking, but yeah.....that color goes with anything. Sent from my SM-S820L using Tapatalk
PaymentPlan
Seen a lot of combos where the frame matches the case color. That's what I was aiming for.

RagunCajun
People have had good luck with tusk axles. Used to be called gforce. I've had one for about 6 years now or more.

LaegerEliminator
Controls, are you riding any kind of quad currently these days?
PaymentPlan
Controls, are you riding any kind of quad currently these days? Not really, I mean my wife's 08 450r, that's it. Then my kx450f bike. Why do you ask?
RagunCajun
What's your extension +2 , +4?It's whatever the widest setting is. Also wheel offset makes a difference.i actually may take the smaller spacer out so it narrows my bike an inch or so. It's a PITA putting in back my little truck. I just have stock hubs. Why do you ask?I ask because many of your questions are rookie type questions. You're in the middle of a build that many dream about and few can actually make happen. To be blunt, you're building far more bike then I'd guess you have skills / experience to handle. Not trying to insult you, but you need to get some seat time on a lesser bike to determine what feels and works best for you, to help you build and tailor this bike to best suit you, your preferences and riding style.
RagunCajun
To be blunt, you're building far more bike then I'd guess you have skills to handle. No that's me lol. I really hope you have some long strait terrain to take the bike on when done. My 521 is stupid fast and i run out of room in no time. The mph in each gear is very high. There's no way IMO a 521 is good for tight to moderate trails due to be being a waste of engine for that. For dunes, i bet it would be a blast.

I ask questions to pick people's brains. That, on top of reading and researching narrows my options for the best choice. Why not ask questions? Though they may seem rookie type, maybe someone can state a fact or perspective that I haven't considered before. I'll try to grab any info I can.
