landonschmidt
Well ill be. I was confused as its so smoothly rounded and green..must be the coolant dyed it. U think previous owner got it to hot and it melted or why would it do this? There was green gunk caked on rad cap Sent from my LGLS990 using Tapatalk

Bennett131
The melted plastic had to go somewhere. What mods does it have? I'd check the jetting and perform a leak down test before you throw another impeller in it and ride.
landonschmidt
Its bone stock 2004 shee. I found most of the plastic gunked on my radiator cap. Like spoonfull almost. I did drain crank oil and it had good color so its not gttn in there and i also dont smell coolant in the exhaust but i will hafta do leakdown like u said Sent from my LGLS990 using Tapatalk

trickedcarbine
It got hot, so assume there is engine damage. See what kind if compression it has. Do that and you'll at least know if there is even a motor that will run.
landonschmidt
Well it runs absolutely fine and pulls better thn my last stock shee ever did... KwikShee
I would definitely upgrade to a billet high flow impeller and put a new seal and bearing in it also. Make sure to heat the case cover up in the oven around 400° for a couple minutes before pressing or driving out old one and putting in New. I've never had to heat a banshee cover. The shaft should slide in, and the bearing should be about half in with no effort as long as you drop it in straight.
