Invader
He put 20s with 35/12.5. Like the look. And the manual. Just preference. And I live in San Diego. But in traffic you can just let the clutch out in 1 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

phillybuilt
Yes sir, I took this about 2 weeks ago! I have no doubt I'll go 500k miles! Good for you! Love seeing people trying to get the most life out of them as they can instead of just trading up for new. My 24 valve is approaching the 300k mark and it's just getting started IMO. Have you had any transmission or injector issues? What do you use for additives?
Big Mike NY
Zero transmission problems, zero injector issue. I use the Stanadyne diesel additive..

LaegerEliminator
What have you done to preserve the body on this truck? I keep hearing how harsh the winter salt is on vehicles from the Midwest to the east coast and how quickly they start to rust out everywhere. Big Mike NY
I wash it constantly, right through the winter. I also wax the balls out of it multiple times a year with Zaino, same was I use on my vette!! https://www.zainostore.com/ Edited March 1, 2017 by Big Mike NY

99michael
Finally picked me up a real diesel. It's only a 2 wheel drive, but it's an 01 with a 6 speed.I love chevy's, but for a decent cummins, I'll make an exception.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
rubberneck
Nice, i just rebuilt my NV5600. If it starts making any noise go through it sooner rather than later. They have a habit of wiping out the rear mainshaft bearing and breaking 6th gear when towed heavy. You can help prevent the former by changing oil and overfilling by a quart when you refill. Fill that last quart through the shift tower.
