willaduncan
I picked up a blown titled banshee for about $450 back in March and am just now getting around to tearing into it. This will be a SLOW build so bear with me and this build will also not be a "badass" build, because this is going to be the wife's first banshee so I don't want her to tear up a ton of nice new powder. Lowroll
Man I wish I could find a mint banshee for a price like that. I really want to build a pretty stock bike for the trails. Glad to see nothing is really torn up inside that case Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
willaduncan
Yea I bought this and a blown blaster for 900 together both titled banshee is 04 and blaster is 06. I'm estimating the banshee to cost about 500-600 to repair, need new axle, bore/hone, Vito's domes, crank, inner clutch hub, and Pistons. Blaster should be about 200 to get going again it needs bore/hone, rechamber head, and piston I'm going through ken o'connor for the blaster machining ( I know he is hated on this site but he knows blasters well, offers military discount and is the only shop I found doing head rechambering. willaduncan
get any thing back together? or just waiting on parts I haven't even bought parts yet, this build will probably be about a year in the making. She's still learning to ride and don't have the budget right now to build this motor, I'm about to go to Iraq as well so it will be when I get back from there. Really though only thing I'm gonna do to this build is cut off the unused tabs on the frame ($FREE), new KC harness($50), dc convert for better lighting($100), battery box (I got to find one I like first), stock stroke crank ($200-400), top end kit ($350), and pods ($80). ~$1000 just to get it going then later down the road I want a +2 or +4 swinger, +2+1 a-arms and some suspension set-up. I'll have to buy new shocks I don't see many people having shocks for a 110#-120# rider. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
willaduncan
Accidentally cut off the stator plug like a dummy... I guess I was over zealous with the snips lol, but non the less a soldered on new wire heat shrink wrapped the solder joint and put on a new square plug then wrapped it all back up with some good old fashioned electrical tape! Good as new! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

willaduncan
hell yeah. looking forward to seeing it doneMe too, I think I'll get the frame powdered but I'm not too sure on the color scheme I was wanting to do pink n white (wife said no) I also suggested red white n blue (wife said no) now I'm trying to convince her into blue n white but she doesn't like that either lol. I honestly don't mind segueing over color scheme for her quad I'm just glad she wants one too! She wants it murdered out... That's cool n all but it's over played imo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
