got a 200sx (witch i still have)

If I can find another in good condition I'll probably get me another. :P

I miss mine. :(

my girlfriend is thinking about selling hers when she gets a new quad. :D

The first time I saw the banshee, was in 1988. I was with some friends on vacation, and saw a few of them. I wanted one ever since. I saved and saved, and in '93, I still could'nt afford the banshee, so I got a blaster.

The first time I rode one, I was cruising down a trail on my blaster, when some guys pulled up on a banshee, and asked where I ride, so I said"follow me", and headed down the road wide open. Next thing I know, they pull up next to me on a wheelie, for a minute, then took off again like I was standing still...on a wheelie! I was like DAM!. When we got to the riding spot, the guy asked me if I wanted to ride it, and of course I said YEP. I went around the track, hit the powerband a couple times, and fell in love. I had to have one. After a few years and dozens of loan applications, I finally got mine. Better late than never, I guess B)

i went to the local yamaha shop to trade my 96 yz250 on a new yzf250 and it was a slow bucket of snot compared, even though they are pretty quick. with dissapointment in my head i was leaving when i spotted an old red and yellow banshee in the corner covered in mud. i took it for a spin and frightened the living shit out of myself. 2 weeks later i bought a 2000 model which they had just traded on a raptor and became a proud banshee rider....... for 1 day ..... then i bacame a proud hospital bed owner. thinking i was king shit , being a banshee rider, i went a little too quick into a bend at 11:00 am the first day i had it. the rest is history, artificial knee, titanium femur and 9 weeks off work.

10 weeks after i was again a proud banshee rider, however more cautious, and have never looked back

thats my story.

I grew up on a ranch in Wyoming so we had utility four wheelers, but when i was in the 6th grade we moved and sold everything. So i went untill my senior year with "really" riding a quad, a couple of friends had a 300ex, and a 400ex, and i would ride with them at the track, then my friend with the 300ex started to rebuild it and he put a 330 kit on, and so on, just redid everything i helped him do it, and in the process fell in love with quads again, so that next summer, a rich freind of mine had a banshee that he was going to rebuild but i asked him if he would just sell it and he agreed, for a 100 bucks, it was in pieces and a piece of shit, but none the less a banshee, so i have rebuilt engine completely, everything is new except the frame, shocks, and swing arm.

The first time i rode a banshee was mine at the dunes in wyoming after i got all the work done, we pulled it off the trailer and my friend that had rode it before, said, "you gotta rev the piss out of it before you start out" so i pulled the clutch in and reved it up and let the clutch out, it kinda bogged down and spottered but once i got it going and hit the power band, i had goose bumbs and a grin from ear to ear, it was raw power. By the end of the day i was shifting up dunes that my friend could not even get halfway up. I love it.

when i was younger my dad had a yamaha 200 3 wheeler. our whole family, aunts, uncles, cousins would all go to the river under the bridge and ride. every family had a 3 wheeler. all uncles then got 220's. then when i was prolly junior high we sold it and got a yamaha moto 4. thought it was badass. all uncles then got 4x4's and we mud bogged for like 5 years. then my in 2001 my cousin got a blaster and i couldnt believe the power of it. i needed a sport quad. wanted a raptor cause they looked cool. kid in town just got a new shee after shadow day at the local dealer. didnt even ride a quad b4 in his life. so i rode it on a gravel road and once the powerband hit in 3rd gear and i went sideways i completely forgot about the raptor idea and instantly fell in love w/ the shee. wanted one for like a year b4 i finally got a brand new 2002. then my friend got one and then my brother. now all my cousins are gettin into sport quads and my brother has had his shee for not even a year and its full drag alcohol and in the top 5 fastest in the state. now about 70 kids in my small hometown of 1000 ppl and the town next to it of about 800 ppl got quads and about 25 are shees. we run in packs....lol

My first time on a shee was when I bought her about 9 months ago. Before that I had ridden a warrior and some old ass honda one I think. I can remember when I was like 10 I wanted a banshee. Problem was I was too small to get one and my parents wanted no part of me having a four wheeler. So 13 years later I went and bought my own. I still think they are the best looking quads out there, and have the best following.

For me the most memorable first time ride on my Banshee was: I had it for about 5-6mnths I bought and installed a buddy beater package (DMC 916 pipes, Boysen power reeds, Reed spacers, main/pilot Jets, and a boost bottle) I installed everything myself, took it out for the first tiime and when I rode it felt faster but felt like something was missing kind of like it was being held back by something. I thought I had been taken $$$ Whent home all freaked out that night started looking on the internet for answers thats when I stumbled across this site"Holy Banshee info" I posted my problem and was waiting for a reply when I started going over the installs that I had done wondering if I screwed something up. Thats when I discovered a template in the DMC instructions for a whole in the top of the air box. The next morning I couldn't get out to the garage fast enough, Cut the whole in the lid warmed it up, took it out on the street and stabbed the throttle. The front tires stayed of the ground for the first 4 gears, could have gone through them all if I didn't run out of road, I drove it back to the garage in the same manner I took off in. Then, I got off and was shaking from head to toe "WAHOOOO WAHOOOO WAHOOOOO" what a friggen rocket ship. I'll never forget that momment for the rest of my life. "BANSHEES RULE" I don't care what quads come out or whos says what is faster or handles better. I'm hooked on the Banshee for life.

I went through some dirt bikes some hodge podge some decent the best was an 87 kx 125 then onto quadsports. They never had enough power. Bought my first shee in 89. It was an 87 model red and white. My bank said I had to have insurance so I went and got it. 3 days later I let my future bro-in-law ride it and 10 secs later him and the quad were flipping through the air every which way. The insurance company put 1400 bucks in repairs on it and cancelled me within the next week. Then I had to beg my dad to pay off the loan so I could keep my shee cause the bank was gonna impound it for lack of insurance. Got married and ended trading it for a car. Now here I am 12 years later and I bought an 89 in a basket .Been tearing it up ever since. OOhh my aching wallet.

I put it in a pink wet layered thingy (had to push kinda hard but if felt good) moved it back and forth real fast yanked it out and left a big white blob on her stomach, she said it hurt so I was scared.

J/k

I started riding when I was 4 on a honda mr 50. Since I started on a bike with a manual clutch, every step up after that was easy. As far as 4 wheelers go, after I rode a banshee............. I had to buy one, which I did. Never rode a 4 wheeler that moved like a bike until then.
